eaa witness 9mm gear

I just picked up an eaa witness 9mm. I was wondering if they take regular cz magazines. Does anybody have any experience with these guns? Or have any recommendations for good after market gear. Thanks

So far we have ascertained that almost no parts interchange without substantial re profiling and fitting.

EAA / Tangfolgio seem to have chosen to create there clone with completely different measurement on almost all parts

I assume you have to look toward EAA or Tanfoglio for aftermarket parts.

The Tanfoglio Witnesses are a large framed gun. Made that way so they can have caliber interchangeability from 9mm up the 10mm, .45, and even .38 super. A friend bought a pricy Tanfoglio oversized safety for his CZ.
It didn't fit, or even come close.

Very few parts are interchangeable, but SOME CZ mags do work. As far as mags go, Greg Cote LLC is one of the best as far as prices go.

Thanks for the help guys. I've been looking around at tour suggestions. I think this eaa is going to be relegated to purely truck gun. Not a bad deal, it shoot like a laser beam and is cheap enough I don't mind that it gets beat up.

it depends.
I own an older witness 9mm and have a bunch of mecgar cz 75 mags.
I agree on cotes for the mags at the best price.

BUT, around 2010 witness change all their guns to the large frame.
if you own an older one, then yes the cz mags will work.
if you own a newer one, then no, they will not.

Some of the newer guns are small frame. The polymer guns for around $300 with one mag are small frame. They will be either 9mm or 40cal.
