EAA Witness .40 ported?

Run a search for the EEA Witness. I havent one as of yet but its definitely on my list of guns to have. Passed on a compact .45 that was ported for $340. They are going for $315 on Youngs archery but I dont know if they're ported or not. Whats the asking price? To tell you the truth, I dont think the EEA Witness would be a bad gun to have in anyones collection.

Anyone interested in a full size wonderfinish ported .45? Have one that's only been to the range once with less than a mag through it, that's been sitting in the safe since.

took it to the range shot it, liked it, bought it

very accurate almost no recoil

if it takes my abuse for a couple of years i will be happy

Double taps better than my other guns
i have many top shelf guns(none compensated)

makes me want to get a G23 C

thanks Lenny

How is it ported?

I have a springfield P9 ultra (witness with a nicer finish) that is a long slide 40 with 2 holes drilled in each side of the barrel flanking the front sight.

My P9 is reasonably accurate, very reliable and does not recoil significantly. I have been on the hunt for another because it does shoot so nicely. I was shooting mine on thursday and I was able to pick off clay pigeons at 75 odd yds on a berm. Not all time mind you, but often enought that it was fun.

Great gun the witness. I have a 10mm that has "taken a licking and kept on ticking!"

Peter,

its ported different than anything ive seen
it has like an inch extension that is threaded onto the
end of the barrel. The top of the the compensator is almost completely open on top

wish i had a pic to show

I'd actually try to post a picture here, but I can't find a place to host my pictures.

Working on getting a network working right now, but I might be able to have a picture taken and sent out, sometime sunday night, possibly.

Oh and if you're interested go ahead and pm me, I might not be able to check the pm tomarrow so don't worry I'll try to get to it as soon as I can.
