EAA Bounty Hunter ??

Howdy. I recently purchased an EAA Bounty Hunter, 4.5" (actually closer to 4.75), nickel finish, in .45 Colt. It's my first cowboy action (I've wanted one for quite some time). I don't have any intentions of competing, though it sounds like a lot of fun. I probably should have asked this question prior to buying, but... Does anyone have any experience with these German made guns? Are they any good and how do they stack up against the other reproductions?

Thanks,

As for acuracy I can't say much as I haven't acutally shot the one I'll reference. But my father in law is a Cowboy history buff and a reenactment player who has one. Frankly he was just born 100 years too late. He has only shot blanks in his, but it has been a very reliable for that purpose. He is a very attention to details kind of guy and says it is a very accurate reproduction of the peacemaker.

the only review ive ever seen of the bounty hunter was in an old issue of guns of the old west. the reviewer said it gave good accuracy, and was built tougher then the original saa. his was in 44 magnum. although at that time, 2001 or so, the hammer spring was overly strong,

Thanks guys. I picked it up brand new for $369, plus shipping and transfer (less than $415 all total). Seemed like a pretty good buy.
