I recently read an article about the gun builder E.R Shaw. The writer was quite liberal with his praise about the barrels, and complete guns made by this builder.
A review of the builders wedsite shows several types of barrels and stocks available in a slew of calibers.

Has anyone here had any dealings with them?

I am looking for a custom gun at a reasonable price. This builder would be a good fit for what I am looking for in a flat shooting rifle.

Any information would be great.

What would be your intended purpose? ER Shaw barrels don't have a large following in competitive precision shooting circles. Krieger or Bartlein are your best bets for proven quality and accuracy.

ER Shaw has been around a long time. They make good barrels, not great barrels. About 3-4 years ago, their barrels took a giant step forward in price.

Recently ER Shaw began releasing rebarreled Savage rifles in laminated stocks, call them the Mark VII. They shoot well from what I've read. But have you ever read anything negative in a gun magazine?
