DW Heritage Holster

I jumped on the DW bandwagon after being recommended to me here in the forums. Now I need help choosing a holster.

For now I want to carry it open while hunting or fishing and I'd like to go kydex if possible but most recommendations are for leather. Anyways give me your recommendations so I can look into them. Thanks gents!!!

Any 1911 govt will work. I like bladetech, milt sparks, bravo concealment but holsters are really personally things. It is hard to recommend one.

Also what are you looking to spend.

I think $100-$150 definitely no more than that since I'm getting a new belt as well, again as I mentioned I'm looking for an outdoor holster as I plan to carry it when hunting or on the water fishing for now, when I decide to conceal it if I do then I'll go for a IWB holster or something.

I like leather but understand the practicality of kydex. You might try the line of holsters from Garrett Industries. Their hybrid holsters have a kydex shell and a thin, leather-lined interior. So, moisture from sweating is kept out but the leather is a bit easier on a gun's finish. I have one of their holsters I sometimes carry IWB.

I should also mention that Tucker Gunleather also makes hybrid leather-lined holsters and they have a good reputation.

I checked bravo and couldn't find an option for DW, I will call later and see if they have them since I couldn't find it on the drop down menu. I'll check Garrett and the rest. Thanks gents!

There is nothing special about the profile Colt 1911 Govt 5" will work.

If you're going to be outdoors in the elements, and draw speed isn't of paramount importance, I'd consider the U.S. M12 holster (sized for 1911).
