DuraCoat w/ Hotdog Compressor

I'm getting tired of using canned air for spraying DuraCoat. I've stayed away from using my hotdog compressor because it doesn't have an inline moisture or oil trap and I worry about contaminating the DuraCoat.

Is this a realistic concern or am I over-thinking it? I am going to call LCW on Monday but thought I'd see what folks here thought.

Get an inline desiccant filter for $8 at Lowes/Home Depot and mount a $6 oil water separator upstream of it. I have used this setup for field work with my plasma cutter for years and have never had an issue. For longer term use I bought a refrigerant drier for a central AC unit and soldered on 1/4" male pipe fittings. I chuck this in the oven overnight on the lowest setting to purge any moisture.

I use a line filter on my compessor with a finish sprayer with no issues. I also drain the tank after each use.
