Dura-Touch Stock Finish? Where can I get it done?

Can someone tell me where I could have the Dura Touch finish that is on some Browning guns applied to my Beretta composite stock? I have heard of guy's getting their stocks camo painted and then having the dura touch sprayed on them in clear. I am interested in hearing from anyone on how well this aftermarket finish holds up? Cost?

I'd just try Dura Coat, since I don't know if Browning has their own coating or not. There are plenty of places that can paint your rifle stock as well. That is if you are not going to do the painting yourself.

I'm not looking to do anything to my barrel, just the stock.

I would like the same/similar dura touch product browning uses on their stocks if possible??

I do know it's available somewhere but don't recall who does it. It's just a clear rubberized coating that can be sprayed over the dipped parts. Benelli and Bowtech bows both use a similar rubberized clear on some models. I'll do a few searches for it.

I was thinking about that also for my Tikka T3. I love the gun, but hate the stock. Maybe it's me but the stock on that T3 seems really noisey and hollow sounding. It seems so loud on stand even when the quick detach sling swivels tap it. I though some kind of soft rubber coating like you mentioned would quiet it down some. I've looked for a after market stock for it but haven't been able to find one

I thought the same exact thing when I was looking for a rifle a couple years ago...on the Tikka synthetic stock, I simply could not warm up to it. Looked cheap, felt cheaper and the noise part was the icing on the cake for me. I am a hunting fanatic and the hollow sound would never work for me. At that time I bought an a-bolt with dura touch.

I have an x-bolt with dura touch and LOVE the rifle. I am inquiring here about the finish because I have a Beretta AL-390 that I like for turkey hunting and would like to have the stock camo'd with the clear dura touch. The dura-touch finish could help both our situations.......

It's been 5 or 6 years since I bought used 2003 Winchester SX-2 Waterfowl with Dura-Touch, but at the time I couldn't find out for the life of me what Dura-Touch really was. I thought I was going to wear out google during duck season that year. I finally gave up on it.

The D-T finish still looks like new, too.
