"Duplex" shells

Cleaning out the closet the other day and came across a couple boxes of Remington Duplex shells. They have olive drab plastic hulls and are marked "STEEL DUPLEX BBx2" and "STEEL DUPLEX BBx4". I heard that the Duplex shot idea looked better on paper than it actually worked. These rounds are about 15 years old, and I'm guessing that they're no longer manufactured. Anyone have any experience with this type load?

sounds like you have the waterfowl duplex. i've only used the turkey duplex loads but they worked quite well for me. that was back when i was using 2 3/4" loads and i believe the duplex was loaded with #4 & #6 shot. pretty good pattern for my old savage stevens.
