Dunham's M700 Remington

That's a 700 ADL package.

It will have a blind magazine, and an entry-level scope.

It's not a bad package - but you'll want more down the road.

I've got an '83 model ADL that does everything I want it to do. It shoots deer, it carries easily, it shoots pigs, it's fairly accurate, it shoots... you get the idea. One of these days I might upgrade it, but it'll likely be in the locker when they carry me out through the front door. Maybe one of the grandkids will upgrade it.

Are they as good as the 700's of old? I don't think so but that is just my opinion. The finish is rough, the stocks cheap, and the scope/mounts are horrible. They shoot well though (at least my does) and are a good place to start when you plan on adding the things to you want as money allows. I put Weaver Grand Slam mounts and a Burris scope on mine prior to shooting it.

They are IMHO I have one in 3006 and it shoots like a dream I put a nikon prostaff on her with leupold rings and bases and what do ya know.....its a sniper. :D I'm comparing this to my fathers early 80's model. His does have nice wood though, I use mine in the snow and rain so plastic fits my bill quite well. When people bring up that these ADL's have blind mags and no hinged floor plate I think huh pops gun is 30 years old and his has the same set up...

If your looking at fit and finish no. they have to cut costs somewhere to sell them that cheap. But it still has 700 action and im sure the barrels are made on the same assembly line any other 700 barrel is made on. Bottom line is for 400 bucks its a steal. Its hard to find a bare remington action for much less then that.
