Dumoulin and Milmort

This is a fancy grained walnut mannlicher stock chambered in .338 win mag. No checkering, inlay, engraving. Does have several proof marks and the barrel seems to be aftermarket ported at the end. The porting looks very professional but the reason I say afermarket is there are some slight indents in the wood where they might have attached a jig or something to drill the holes.

The question is what exactly am I looking at? I am not familiar with the name or have any clue on value. It is a mauser and looks like german or austrian proofs.

Any help would be appreciated, a search on Dumoulin turned up few results.

Thanks

I think it is Dumoulin a ("in" or "at") Milmort. Dumoulin, as Wildalaska says, is a high end Belgian maker located in Milmort, a suburb of Herstal, where FN is located.

(FWIW, I tried to do the accent on the "a" but the result was the post was chopped off, so put a backward accent on that "a".

I've seen the Milmort with and "e" in my searches. I have been hankering for an RSI and this thing presented itself and in a caliber I like just wondering if I should pull the trigger! In regards to the porting, does anyone confirm or deny that it is original?????

Thanks

Thanks for the replies, I went to the site above earlier and sent them an email with no response as of yet. I would love to post pics but that whole sd card, where do I take the film has my mom a little scared. I will see what I can do in the meantime.
