Dumb title II weapons question (AR-15)

Let me get this straight... I can pay $200 for a little stamp that lets me legally own a POST BAN short barreled (under 16") AR-15 with an integral suppressor on an upper in .300 Whisper...

BUT, I CAN'T put the collapsing stock on it? I guess those things really do make the weapon more lethal.
 
So all of the suppressors in .223 or .300 can only be used on semi autos that are PRE ban? This is getting crazier by the minute...
