Duelatron/ATS pop up targets?

Hello all, anyone out there using the pop up ATS/Duelatron targets?
I know the DOE at San Onofre is using them, spoke with their range honcho and they seem happy.
I put a couple of calls into Contra Costa County SO but no reply.

How about the rest of you? If you don't use them what questions would you ask the vendor?

Here is the link to the version we are considering purchasing

Thanks in advance!

Target systems

The dueltron you have chosen is very nice.
How many can you afford.?
Is it necessary to have such mobility and portability?
If cost is not a factor , then these are great units, but if constant use are the program I would consider the other systems available from them for less cost.
Are you setting up a full time commercial range or just private use?
Target replacement cost? Hours between service? The company will be at TREXPO West in Long Beach CA in FEB 20-21 you can see the products and get first hand info from the reps.

Thanks for your reply.

We are a smaller PD in the LA County area. We plan to purchase five. We have an indoor 75' range where they will be most of the time. Our tactical team will be taking them out to outdoor ranges three or four times a year as well.
The target backs are another key questions for anyone who has this system. The company recommends using the hard plastic military silhouettes as backing. They cost about $8 a piece. We were wondering if anyone has had success using regular stiff cardboard backing, like on a B21 target, etc.
