Oh my.
I just got mine. This thing is...wow. Very nice. As it is my first autoloading rifle (military style or otherwise), I can't really compare it anything except what I've handled in gun shops and borrowed from friends. It also has not yet been shot. Those caveats aside:
Fit and finish seem nice. Not perfect, but this is a military arm, fer cryin out loud. No obvious blemishes, dings, scrapes or misalignments. It is all an even charcoal grey, with no rust or any wear. The handle, handguard, PG and stock are a slightly darker black than the rest of the gun. If they included any used parts, I sure can't find them. The bore looks like a mirror.
This thing is *big* Right now she's a little nose-heavy, what with a bipod and empty magazine and all. The balance and feel will take some adjustment- I'm used to shotguns. Still...wow. nice gun. If this is what DSA puts out for a 'parts gun,' I wonder what their 'top of the line' product is like.
Thanks for all who answered my silly questions over the past 6 months. Now, one more:
Magazines: I know they are plentiful. Best place to buy?
Thanks!
Mike
