DS Arms SA58

Is anyone out there familiar with the line of FN/FAL clones that DS Arms puts out as the SA58? I've seen a couple of favorable write-ups, but I'd be interested in any first hand experience anyone may have.

I have a rifle using one of their Type-01 metric recievers with enough of their American made parts to make it acceptable (at least to the ATF). Is this close enough? The fit and finish is excellent with very faint machine marks visible in only a few places.
It's a beautifully simple piece. Field stripping is about as easy and fast as an AK. Magazines are cheap at $7. Accessories like web gear and cleaning kits are easily found. It is a heavy beast, however, at least compared to an AR-15.
