DS Arms - FAL Carbine Barrel Assembly

Does anyone have first hand experience with these? Specifically:

What is the quality of the barrel thread fit to original metric uppers.

Does the modified gas system adequately compensate for the higher pressures of the shorter chamber-to-port distances.

What is the quality of the rifling, is it button or broached or hammered-on-mandrel (like the Congo barrels).

What problems, if any were encountered with the replacement and subsequent use?

Sorry don't have that specific barrel on mine but, DSA knows what they are doing on these things. I'm sure the threads match up as well as all their other barrels. As for the rifling I couldn't say. You might want to give them a call and see if the tech dept can answer your questions. Someone told me that the carbine ft end is just about impossible to get, always out of stock, but I havn't tried to get one myself yet. Sure makes for a cute little package though.
