dry lube?

Ive never done this but it just kinda popped in my head.

Would graphite work as a good lube for a shotgun?

I have no evidence or any real reason why you would use it over normal gun oil, but its just a thought.

Depending on the gun and how, it could work, especially for areas where you DON'T want oil (like near the O-ring on a 1100). Remkington actually makes a dri-lube that has teflon in it

Moly on the 1100 "O" ring and gas piston works very well as a lube. Has tobe the dry stuff with no oils in it. Rubbed on and into the parts, works for a long time.

If your worried about getting your dainty fingers dirty use something else.
