Dry Firing

Ok,I am curious as to what guns handle dry firing better than others.

I like to dry fire for practice, but I usually use "snap caps". For this discussion, what brands are easier damaged when dry firing w/o snap caps? Please also explain why...

Semi-autos:
Sig Sauer
Glock
Ruger

Revolvers:
S&W
Ruger

Glock firing pins have stood up to dry-fire beatings.

However, I heard about bad crap happening to an HKP7M8. I never dry fire my HK but the Glock all the time.

I use snaps in my .12GA

I cut a foam earplug in 1/2 or 1/3 and put it where the hammer strikes. Cushions the metal to metal contact. I haven't had any problems using this method with my Ruger, CZ, and Witness semi autos. I dry snap some every night, and if I have a match coming up, for about 1/2 hour before I go.
