Drop-in bull barrels for 10/22

does anybody have any experience with any of the "drop in" bull barrels for the 10/22.

I know butler creek has several that they offer.
Dan Lilja also offers them.

I want to get decent accuracy and spend as little money as possible.

Many aftermarket barrels are good. Lots of them don't need a threaded action. Lilja, Shilen, Butler Creek, etc. The factory target barrel is good enough for me, now that I have bedded the action and the first part of the barrel.

I have had good results from my Butler Creek. No real specific figures, just small groups at extended ranges. Very in-sensitive barrel.

A quick note on the links - Giz shut down the forum 444 mentioned late last year and moved all operations to the dedicated site Ledbetter mentioned. When you get your new barrel (or even before), be sure to enter the postal matches they hold regularly. They're lots of fun and so everyone is a winner.
 
Thanks for the update. I got on a 10/22 kick a year or two ago and found a lot of great info on that site. I will have to update my faviorites.
I ended up with the threaded barrel, but I know people that are using the Butler Creek barrels with satisfaction.
