Dragon's Breath

I have heard many times before about Dragon's Breath shot shells and seen pictures of people shooting them at night, but I was curious if anyone knew if there was actually some sort of a real use, tactically, etc.? Why were they even made in the first place?

You should check your local laws. I can tell you it's illegal in Il. It looks like nothing by fun, so I don't know why they'd make it illegal here.

I have a couple for HD. Very effective if you dont mond burning your house down in the process. Also great for clearing snow off your drive or weeding :o)

I just assume light my money on fire..

Dragon's Breath ammo is one way of watching your money go up in smoke
[$100 per 25rds LoL]

save up for some 3"-4" mortars & Roman Candles for the 4th of July

if you shoot that in the house you might have a fire, I shot a door on an old out building once and just about burnt the building down , it was about time for it to go anyway , old and dried out & rotten LOL

A buddy was given some once. He stood on the bow of his boat in the marina one night and fired a round across the creek. The creek looked like it was at least 100+ yards wide at that point.

Oops. He set the tall grass and brush on fire on the other side. Not a real big deal, but an eye opener. It was just a sand bar kind of little island with no buildings or anything. He still had to launch his tender and go put it out.

SSsshhhhh, the Zombie's might hear...

Oh Yeah, and used similar to a "thermobaric" type weapon on enclosed spaces, think into a bunker from twenty yards or down a trench-line!

Sounds like a new way to rid your ports and screw-in chokes of that pesky plastic wad build-up.

and maybe dissolve the solder holding your barrels together...........

About as useful as tits on a bull, IMO

Hey there was that story of the lady who turned away a home invasion with a DB rouund! The house didn't burn because it was at or towards the window I believe. Yeah baby!

It's like the one poster said...you never know when you might need your SG to be a flamethrower! Yeah, they start fires, expect it. Aintcha got a fire extinguisher? lol

Their illegal in Chicago? Well I don't live in Chicago but hearin that makes me want some even more too!

They're illegal in Illinois. As are any shotgun round other than anything #9-0000. If your shotgun don't shoot balls, it's illegal in Il.

Not quite as much flame as a Dragon's Breath, but if you load a .357 Magnum with a light bullet, along with the heaviest load of Blue Dot you can find, it'll incinerate anything in its path and blow the eardrums out of any of his friends. :D A LOT cheaper than DB. Not a good load for a public range.
