Draft of mandatory safety training in Australia

The privilege of firearms ownership in Australia is now going to require mandatory safety training. The Federal Justice Minister has released the "consultation" (ha!!) draft of the new requirements.

Have a look -- and remember, this applies even to ownership of an air rifle!!!! And this after you have convinced the police that you have both reason and need to own a firearm.

Now this isn't a flame against our Aus. LEO's but will they have the same regulations ?
Everyone here in Aus. knows the HUGE amount of negligent discharges that happen in the Police Force....
Will it be another double standard ?
The Aussie LEO's carry their weapons under "Common Law" but do we have the same right ?
