DPMS Bolt Catch

Does anyone know if the DPMS bolt catch is "shorter" than others? The mag followers on both PMAGS and Pro Mag do not catch on my AR15, but on my Tapco mags it catches fine.

Does anyone else have this problem?! I'm willing to replace the bolt catch with another brand or what not. Thanks!

The dimensions on some lowers are slightly off, I had this issue with a billet lower made by Tactical Innovations. I had to file down the back of the part where it inserts into the lower so that it could rock further back hence allowing the actual "catch" part to pop up more and hold open the bolt.

Getting the pin in and out is a royal PITA.
 
I've never had any problems with Magpul PMags in my DPMS ars (at least while they were still all DPMS). Perhaps you just have a rogue bolt catch that is not to spec?
 
Could be the catch or it could be the lower is slightly out of spec. Try another bolt catch, if you still have a problem it's the lower more than likely.
