Doves are the symbol of peace and they breed for life

Mosburg 500 series in .410 or a Mos. Maverick 12 gauge.

I cleaned them twice this month. And dove season is about a month and a half away in Florida. I keep checking my supplies.

870 12ga 28" FULL / MOD / IC / SKEET choke and Remington ShurShot #7 1/2 / AA #7 1/2 / AA #9 depending on location.

Rem. 1100 28" Modified Vent Rib. (an oldie but goodie) Shooting 2 3/4" field loads (3 1/2-1 1/8) in either # 7 1/2 or # 9 shot. Later in the year I may switch to 3 3/4-1 1/4 for a few more yards range when they get more skitterish.

I'm not going after doves till the early Canada season ends :p When I do, it will be with the trusty Mossberg 500, and either my skeet load (Fed hulls, Clays,Win209's,1oz of #8 in a WAA12SL wad) or my trap load (Fed hulls,GreenDot,Win209's 1-1/8oz of #8's in a 12S3 wad).

Most all animals breed for life. I guess you meant "mate for life." ;)

If they mate for life, it's only fair to kill both, right? And since you don't know which one is which mate, you should waste the whole covey (SP), right? So, we have a legitimate sporting need for automatic shotguns. ;)
