I think that last cool snap after the opener moved a lot of our doves south.
Around here, there is typically a pay to hunt field advertised locally now and again, especially the first weekend or two. I'd check with your local Cons Officer, sometimes hard to reach, or....the wildlife biologist/area manager at your nearest WMA. Either may have a lead on a place to hunt doves.
