Didn't know that when you guys said Dove hunting you meant morning Doves. They got enough meat on em to make it worthwhile? Also, how do they taste?

We have a bunch around here but they don't have an open season for them...

Not much meat and a lot of blood sugar which means they taste similar to duck. (Liverish) to me.

Some salt, pepper and sage, wrap with bacon and grill over charcoal. Make a puppy pull a freight train. I'll cook some this weekend and send a pic.

Totally jealous! My partners and I could only find a very few doves in southern CO.
