funny they use to give them away & now I dont see any cheap ones ! I have a few & they are not fancy just 20" cut down by your's truly . I learned years ago just the sight of a double can stop a fight . I have a Stevens 311 I sanded & shortend the stock put a recoil pad & its a beauty also a 5100 which is pretty much the same but a little lighter I got one at a garage sale & the other at the flea market , never liked over & under thats for bird or skeet . these are home protectors . always had a thing for double shotgun . there seems to be plenty of ammo for them no shortage so far .

When I was a little kid in the 70's, I remember the in-laws and outlaws of the family rarely had "beater" pump-'em-up carbine shotguns but them doubles were as common as single shots and from the talk I heard... "I just picked up this old junker at a yard sale last week..." I doubt these po' folks were spending much for them.

I have my brothers Browning double SxS 12 gauge in its box under my bed NIB. He keeps telling me to take it hunting but he has never fired a round though it. Its to pretty for me to put the first ding in his gun. I don't know what he paid but I bet I don't want to replace it. Especially since they stopped making that model about 10 years ago. He also has a Browning semi-auto in 12 gauge also NIB with no rounds through it and he keeps telling me to try it out and tell him how it works. Uh, uh. Would like to get one but 20 gauge would be plenty for me. I'm getting tender in my old age and I need another gun like I need......well maybe one more before I...........maybe two.

OG, I will gladly test fire both them brownings...
I will even pay the shipping to my ffl.
If I do not find them to be up to snuff... I will just dispose of them to save you the return shipping:o:D
