Dot scope help

Looking to find a red/green dot scope for my Encore pistol.I have a Tasco pro point in 42mm on a Ruger 44 rem mag,and I am very happy with it.But,I dont like the 42mm look on the Encore.I need a smaller one that can handle the recoil for medium loads in a nonported 45/70. Is the bushnell trophy 1x28 able to withstand the punishment?or is there a better choice?

Take a look at Ultradot. I put one of them on my SBH. I am very pleased with it. Not too mention the warranty is excellent too.

Firestorm9mm does yours keep zero when you change reticles?

So far knocked inside lenses out of a Tasco pro point and a Bushnell trophy red/green dots.
