love the specops (have it), and the new folder should be a nice replacement for the compstock.....
powerpack is nice, but needs a price drop imo

What is the NRS stock made out of? Is it plastic or metal?

As for the NRS: after reading this comment "The SpecOps NRS stock is now available for use on shotguns designated for less-lethal use. To clearly distinguish these “less-lethal” guns, the SpecOps NRS-Less Lethal is molded in bright orange or green. I have the spec-op with powerpack and a 6V surefire grip waiting for my 870P to finally arrive. Sucks I was able to buy 2 new guns since ordering the 870P, oh well the armory is being added to none the less.

ok, thanx. I am thinking about the Mesa Tactical buttstock. I asked on another board if the one for optics, that sits high, was better in recoil than the low. I have heard that it is, since it seems to come straight off the barrel. Definitely want to get optics on it, ( Just got an 870E with 6 shot tube, 18 in bbl. ) but I want sights too. Dilemma.
I have been looking at other stocks too. For some reason, I don't think that plastic would hold up for me as well as metal, but I am kind of anal retentive in that way. I like the idea of the Knoxx, but hate the appearance of the spec ops, looks weird, and have heard that under recoil with optics that it can crack you good in the face if you aren't careful. Other than that, I have heard nothing but good things about them everywhere I have asked. They look like a good stock, and for the price, you can get some good features.
The comp stock to me looks killer. If I was going to get a Knoxx, that's the one I'd want. But I like the adjustable pull. I have a large chest, and am tall. Hard to fit, I guess.
