Don't know if anyone knows or cares but .45 colt fits stripper clips

I don't know if anyone knows or cares but I found recently that I can fit my .45 colt rounds on Mosin-Nagant stripper clips. Its a cheaper option than those poly strips that cost like 7 bucks for two, or if you're just looking to carry some extra rounds, like me, in a bag or pouch and don't want to use a box which can break, and takes up more space. At only $1 a piece these let me carry an extra 60 rounds of ammo on the field, I carry them in grenade pouches, to reload my rifle ammo pouches, which incidentally also fit .45 colt. Just figured I'd share.

Never heard about nagant/45 colt, nifty.

I know that 7.62x51 holds 45 ACP and 5.56 holds 9mm (and makarov, which is what I use it for) and 7.62x39 works with .357.

Model 1903 or M14 clips can be slightly modified to hold five .38 Special or .357 rounds for the same convenience.

You have to take out the spring and cut it down a bit on both sides, then pinch the sides of the clip in a little, which is why I said "modified".
