Don't forget to buy a box of ammo.

I bought some Friday. I bought some Saturday. Sunday I went to the range. I will buy some more today--it won't go bad, or even get old ;) Gives me an excuse to go see Jerry and Bill and Chris and look at the treats behind the glass (which one is next?).

At least one box every payday. If they outlaw guns, ammo will be the hardest thing to get for us non-reloaders.
 
Ya know...stupid me.

I go into the shop to buy a symbolic box of .38 Special and went out with reloading components for 1,000 rounds of 9mm.

Had I spent any more time there I would have left with a Savage 10FP. Dang good thing I couldn't decide which caliber. Instead I have the catalog here on the desk, mocking me.

I stopped in at K-Mart today and they had Remington .380 95 gr.fmj`s on clearence for $4.00 a box!I bought half of what they had and am going back for the rest tomorrow.

Gotta watch those 10FP's, Rick. They'll sneak up on ya!

Mine got me about 6 months ago. It just hopped in the car with me, so I HAD to take it home. (Honest, honey. That's the way it happened!)

I got the .308 with the 24" barrel. Shoots 1/2" groups at 100 yards. It doesn't get a whole lot better than that, and DEFINITELY nothing else in the same price range will get near it.

I didn't buy any ammo today, unfortunately. :(

I did SELL a lot at the gun shop though! :D
 
Yesterday I went to the local Ammo monger prepared to buy 500 rounds of .45ACP. and the bums were closed for the Independence day holiday!!!! &%#@!!!@#phooey!

I did go to the range last night and shoot however.
