Don Hume or Galco?

I'm looking for a good shoulder holster for my Walther P99. I've basically narrowed down the candidates to a Don Hume and a Galco Miami Classic. Both look good, and I can get either for about $100. But the Hume appears to be the more versatile. The holster can be detached and used as a strong-side belt rig, whereas the Galco cannot. The Hume also has an elastic connector between the leather hoops; which is a nice ergonomic feature, in my opinion. But I don't want to jump into anything before doing my homework.

So the question is: Are they basically similar in quality? Which one would you recommend? And why?

Thanks for the input.

GALCO

Had one when it was "Jackass Leather".

More practice at it.............

(A shoulder holster should not be 'versatile'; it should be a shoulder holster.)

Just me.
