Energy? Temporary stretch cavities? The HS/GD 9mm +P do about 45, the 40/357s 44-52. Whoopee.

I can do more w less. I'll take 10 9s over 10 40s. But I can think fast and shoot straight too.

Why I just traded a G22 w extra G31 bbl and hicaps (kept my two G17s) for _two_ new 9mm HS2Ks and extra mags and ammo. :)

I will also take 10 rounds of 9mm over 10 rounds of 40. Did the Glock 22 thing, while I was good with it at first, slowly started to go downhill with it. Just can't warm up to the snappy recoil of the 40 or the grip angle of the full sized Glocks. I am much more accurate with the 9mm, and would be able to place and follow up my shots much better with the 9mm. You did the right thing BA, you went with what is right for you.

I am not saying the 9mm is a better stopper than the 40/357. It is not. The 40 throws bigger/heavier bullets at the same speed, the 357 the same bullets faster. I am saying I have come to the conclusion I am a better stopper with the 9mm.

Better for me to shoot a little better with less power, than shoot a little worse with more power. YMMV.
