I'm trying to determine the choke on a Savage model 24c Series N overunder 22LR 20Ga. on the underside of the barrel there is either the number 1 or a capital I in a circle I think it is a I, under that is capital P and under that is the number 4. Any help or advice will be appreciated Thank you Dave

The Model 24 was designed as an all-around game gun, so my guess would be that it has a modified choke. You can measure the the ID at the muzzle and refer to a choke chart that tells you what a 20 gauge choke size is.
