Put my Dog House up on a likely spot.While inside I noticed the sunlight shining through the numerous holes. Anyone have a good patch idea...another use for duct tape?
 
I had a wood dog house that rotted too. I got some sheet metal and glued it on the outside over the holes with outdoor construction adhesive. Then painted it.

Later I bought a plastic doghouse. Never rots.

Currently dog lives inside so plastic dog house is used by squirrels and other critters.
 
I am guessin he means one of them there flimsy tents too small to camp out in so they call 'em a portable shootin' blind:rolleyes:

One of our hog catch dogs is a white bulldog that will get up on top of ANY dog house including pitched roof... lays there like ol' snoopy! We even had her with an unsecured metal barrel and she mastered that first day! She is about as agile and nimble a bulldog as you will see.
Her sister on the other hand needs stitches after crossin' barbed wire fences:rolleyes:

I also think he is refering to the portable tent-like blind that is called "The Doghouse".

I have a buddy that hunts from one of those and the deer will walk right next to it.

Cover the holes with duct tape and wear dark clothes while hunting.

No, I mean the one my Wife built for me after my last gun buy.(I'm just kidding she don't care if I buy guns.)
 
I always feel 8 years old whwn I'm in my Doghouse - kind of like when I was camping as a Cub Scout! I never could understand the guys who set them up and sit in them the 1st morning of a hunt - like the deer dont notice a big ugly rock in the woods. At least set the thing up the week before a hunt - and let the deer laugh at it for a week!!:D
