Does your P32 barrel look like this????

Just got my P32 this weekend and tore it down to clean and get familiar. The barrel and some other areas seemed to have a bit of residue hanging around. (Does Kel-tec test fire these at the factory)? Anyway, after cleaning the barrel real good I looked down it toward the muzzle and the lands look like ladders. In a very uniform manner on each land about every ¼" or so for the entire length of the land there is a dark area about 1/16" wide at a right angle to the length of the land. It almost looks like there are " dips " in the lands. What is your take on this?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like my experience. If you look closely (hopefully), you'll see that the spots are nothing more than discolorations. I called Kel Tec and they told me that this is common and should eventually polish out with firing. After about 200 rounds, mine looks a little better.
