does WWB & FEDERAL .45 brass use small primers or large?

does the current production Winchester white box and the Federal brass cased ammo in .45 auto have small primers or the large primer?

I prefer to stock up on .45 ammo that uses large primers like the original

Last time I saw some both those were large.

The only brass Ive run across that uses small is Blazer so far.

I noticed FEDERAL aluminum uses the small primer, I havent checked the FEDERAL BRASS cases yet.

Federal/Speer uses both, Winchester uses both but I believe that they only use small on the NT, non-toxic" marked brass.. Blazer made by Federal uses only small. IIRC.

Correct. I don't know if the Winchester NT ("Non-Toxic") is considered to be "white box" or not.

If its marked "NT" ...as in Non Toxic or Lead Free primers it will be small pistol primers....and I have seen NT marked cases in both Win and Federal...so you have to read the specs on the boxes...
