Escrima

Was in the JKD form of Escrima in the late 60's until a year or so ago. Lot of indentations on the bones from the practice, but got a nice flowing rhythm to my hand movements.
Course my family based that on my Hawaiian up bringing.

I do. We call it arnis, but it's just different names for the same thing. I walk around the house all day twirling a stick. Cooking, reading, relieving myself, off hand twirling a stick or knife.

PreserveFreedom, escrima is a name for the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA). Arnis is also used, as is the older kali.

Escrima/arnis/kali is/are very effective, very efficient, very beautiful fighting skills. Stylists traditionally train first in the use of sticks, then transitioning to knives and finally adapting the skills to empty hands.
