Does anyone make these earmuffs at a reasonable price?

I'm looking for the hearing protection earmuffs that have a little radio in them that lets you hear things normally but then when the dbl level is too high it cuts out. I keep looking around and finding them for 200 dollars. Is there a place that sells them for under 100 or maybe even around 40-50 dollars?

The really cheap $30-40 ones cut out all sound when they detect a loud noise. The $75-100 Peltor 6S only attenuates (reduces the volume of) the loud noises and you still hear everything. Unless you enjoy missing 50% of more of your communications then it's well worth buying quality. Otherwise just buy a set of non-electronic muffs with a 30dba rating. The -19dba 6S is fine for non-magnums on most outdoor ranges. For indoor ranges I recommend the more expensive ($120-150) 7S with its 24dba rating. And/or combining muffs and plugs.

Check out Harbor Freight. Website Here
I purchase 2 pair of these and for $19.99 they work great. I use them at both indoor and outdoor ranges. You can order them online or if there’s a Harbor Freight near you make sure you print the online add and take it with you. They will match the price. They were $24.99 at the store, but they sold both pair at the online price.

Good to know, thanks for the replies, I might try the ones from harbor freight since I have one here in my area and if they get annoying I'll shell out the extra money for the nicer ones.
