Remington imports the spartan line, several others import from Turkey. Beretta makes SXS as well as SKB. Many Spanish made guns are imported. The list is huge and constantly changing.
You could contact Purdey in England and have one made for you, waiting time is about 3 years and cost $100K or so (Includes a fitting at the factory)
Then there is my favorite, David McKay Brown, who builds beautiful Scottish round body doubles for $60K or so. Bill Ruger patterned his new SXS after McKay Brown's guns. www.mckaybrown.com
Go down to your local bookstore and buy a copy of the latest "Double Gun Journal". Drool over the guns listed there.
Spartan is the same as Baikal and, while not quite on the same level as Piotti or H&H, it's a good, robust gun and great for the price and I love mine to death.
I have a Huglu (Turkish) over/under and if their SxS are only half as good, I know you will be very happy. Prices are very reasonable.
DeHahn imports the nicer ones - http://www.dhshotguns.com/
CZ imports the less fancy ones. Sorry, I don't have the website.
My friend gave me a side by side for free to sweeten a deal I had with him. It had a chipmunk on the side, it was really old and had a cracked stock. I decided to give it to a place that auctions old **** off and keeps a percent of the sales. I wound up getting 400 dollars for the pos.

Don't know how well it will hold up yet, but I just bought a Stoeger Uplander Supreme. Very happy with it thus far. It's not a high-end gun, but I always wanted a SxS and this seemed to be a good entry-level gun. Do a search here and on THR on Stoeger and you'll see quite a few favorable comments.
