Does anyone make a FMJ SWC .40 S&W bullet for reloading?

Rainier has a .40 cal 165 gr FMJ that resembles a SWC but may be called something else (and a lot of plated as well), probably available through Midway and others. I have a few of those loaded.

99 % of everything seems to be plated. Unable to find the .40 Rainier FMJ through Midway. Closest I could do through Midway is a Hornady 180 gr FMJ Flat Nose.

For what its worth, Montana Gold bullets are excellent. Much better than Rainier in my comparisons. If they have a fault, it is that their hollow points don't tend to expand much. For an affordable bullet that does expand well, I like Noslers.

Montana Gold is a FMJ FP ( not a SWC )....but I have loaded and fired a lot of them in 180 gr.... and 165 gr .../ they also make them in 155 gr and 200 gr...

Not exactly what you wanted...but they make very good bullets ( much better than Rainier electro plated ...in my view).

Hornady FN's are as close as you'll get to an SWC. Not enough demand for an FMJ SWC. Odd that there are lots of .400" cast SWC's.
