It seems pretty cool but I wonder how they hold up....They come in 9mm and 40 and I believe they can take Glock mags....I think they cost around $479.95....Wonder if they are worth it....Does anyone have any experience with them ?? Here's a little pic....

I like it. I want it. *sigh* So many guns so little money.

I don't have any idea how well they would hold up, but I have shot the 9mm version. It wasn't too reliable. That was some time ago and they may be better now, but I'd suggest trying to find one to shoot first.

I actually lust for a Glock magazine compatible model, since I have a couple of Glock 9mm guns. I've also saved four of the real Glock 33 round magazines for this purpose, and I'm still shopping for a good deal on the gun. :)

I didnt know these where legal for civilians? I see them in magazines all the time, but never, ever saw one on the shelves of any stores. Maybe because I am in PRK? I've always wanted to get one.. price seems fair.. but no place seems to carry these.

Ok,
Youre gonna have to order from your local dealer if you can....I just happened to see one when my local shop got one in for a customer...Pretty darn cool....I gaurantee they will be banned real soon....

Interesting that you would post this since I ordered a Sub 9 about 1 1/2 months ago. The cost before taxes was $423. The store owner told me that Kel Tec is re-designing their sub rifles so mine might take awhile to get here. Hopefully, they'll move the bolt to either the top or side. One more thing: I have the Sub 40 rifle but haven't shot it yet. I ordered 3 magazines for it June, but have still not received them. I would say go for it, but be very patient!

There is a bulleting board dedicated to the Kel-Tec line at http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi

You might try asking on the Sub 9/40 board there.

I like the little rifle and it is available in various grip configuations so as to accept either S&W, Glock, Browning, Sig, beretta, or Ruger mags. (see http://www.KEL-TEC.com/subrifle-accessories-3.html )

The only reason I don't own one yet is the two Marlin Camp 9s and single Ruger PC9 (converted to accept Glock mags) that I already own.

The Kel-Tec is on my list tho', as is the Feather AT-9, and Calico, and... :D

BTW, www.lonewolfdist.com did the conversion on my Ruger and they were offering them (already converted) a couple weeks ago for $499. That's not bad considering...
