Do you use the same handle on different boards.

Even though I consider TFL to be home, from time to time I'll visit other gun boards when things are a little slow around here. I try to use the same handle on all of the boards that I visit so that others can more easily identify me (either as a friend or foe) and I'm curious if other board members visit different forums and if you use the same handle? Why or why not?
 
I'm Old Gunslinger on AR15.com just because someone was already using Gunslinger there. Like you I use the same name every where I go. Also like you I consider TFL my home but do post on other boards.
In visitng other boards I have became pretty good at recognizing fellow TFL members using different names on other boards from the way they post.

Same here, FUD. I visit The Shottist's Center every day, and lurk at Prodigy's Shooting Sports board. It just seems more proper to let the people you're responding to know who you are if you've responded to them on other forums. That way, if somebody from the Shottist's Center thinks I'm a bozo, they'll know not to respond to me here ;)

I'm the same Dr.Rob at ak47.net that's the only other firearms board I post but I try to use the same handle wherever I post.
 
I use this 'handle', which is my real name in meatworld but not my English name. :)

I change it only if I need to 'go to war' with some jerk in an IRC chat or hack their comp-but that's been quite a while ago.
 
you'll see me at Glock Talk, AR-15, AK-7, RKBA (Miss Demeanor's board), etc...

noone seems to want this name... :o)
 
Generally do as it's easier to remember when my defaults reset. Only times I don't is when I'm not on a gun forum.
