Actually they tried to split the pro-carry vote, which is 90% if you add both.

Anyway, the antis are only getting 10% out of 60,000+ votes on MSNBC of all places!

This is a biased survey,,,

This is a biased survey,,,

Notice how there are two semi-positive responses,,,
And one negative response.

It's been way too long ago that I took my Research Design class,,,
I can not remember the name given to this biasing technique,,,
But having two different positive answers splits the voters,,,
With one negative question for all the negative voters.

What wasn't mentioned in here so far, is the "Yes" that's getting the most votes isn't even the halfway (only for self defense) yes, it was the full on yes.

Edit: Whoops, Brian just mentioned that too :p

To clarify the three choices in current order of popularity are:

Yes the second Amendment guarantees it

No

Yes, only for self defense.

I despise these polls because they're inaccurate and the mislead participants into thinking they're having an effect.

Real polls are conducted by a third-party organization, with a predetermined methodology. Since the online polls require no more than a button press from unspecified participants, there's no way to glean useful data from them.

Case in point: this one. It's probably all over the gun boards, which drives traffic to it. Furthermore, the same people can vote more than once, which makes it suspect.

This is bread and circuses, people.
