Do you fear our government?

I do! I just finished reading AMBUSH AT RUBY RIDGE and am appalled at the Gov'ts behavior right down to all the trash they left behind.
I'm literally so angry I'm tongue-tied. And I don't see it getting any better.
Spin and lies are now SOP.
We as a country are in big trouble.

I'm in more fear that I'll have a confrontation with government criminals rather than civilians criminals. There is no one watching over government wrong doings other than government. Government goons could raid your home using the anonymous tip BS and could get away with murdering your entire family. All goon squads would have to say is we thought they had guns pointed at us. Government is the enemy of freedom! Yeah, yeah I know, well if you don't like it you can always vote them out of office, if it was only that easy.

As crazy as it may sound, our government is just doing what they are told. In a much broader sense, it is the Global Elite that controls our government, not a bunch of corrupt politicians (not to say they aren't corrupt). But they are simply puppets being manipulated by a small group of Elitists who have much bigger things in mind. Global things, a Global government.

Unfortuneately, there isn't much we can do except to prepare for the inevitable. No matter what attempts we make to straighten out our puppet government, until the Elitists are removed from power, the ultimate eventuality is just a waiting game. Their respective impatience grows ever more obvious with each new "gun crime". They expose themselves each and every time one of our children are killed by guns, further justifying to the American people that we should be disarmed. Attempting nothing less than to expedite our enslavement into the Global government scheme.

All domestic and international conflicts are staged, with the objective of giving more and more power to a central government (UN) to solve all problems. It's all for our own good you know?

So when you are angered by the things you read or the things you see, turn that anger into something productive. Like educating yourself on the tactics of this planned eventuality. Learn as much as you can about how these same Elitists have controlled both sides of most major conflicts throughout history, with one common goal in mind...Global government. You will soon learn that conventional means of making this go away (like voting) are all but a waste of our collective energy.

I do not fear the Government. I simply don't trust them.

To fear them, is to give them power over me.

I refuse to allow that to happen.

This is a rhetorical question, right? In case not, I fear anything with that much power over my life. Do I let it keep me from living my life? To the best of my ability, I try not to.

walangkatapat, not a flame, but "...filthy rich elitists"? I could understand "filthy elitists," but to bring someone's economic status into the argument is to play class warfare, which is the exact tool the liberals use to push their socialist/totalitarian agenda. As long as a person has made his money honestly (this means through competition in an open and free market, not by kowtowing to the powers that be or through Govt. favors), he shouldn't be looked upon as less worthy than the poor or middle class. I think I understand what you meant, though: The annointed in DC and the world who think they are mankind's savior. Correct? Or am I missing something here and really off the mark?

DAL...

I think what "wal" meant (if I may), is that the Global Elitists have wealth that far exceeds what is commonly known as "rich". Imagine a cabal that loans governments their money, charging interest on literally trillions of phoney dollars (which by the way are made from nothing). Now, imagine the control that this cabal would have over a government that has $5 trillion is debt (like the United States). A famous quote from the Elite, "Give me control of a nation's currency and I care not who makes the laws." [Mayer Amschel]

Have they made it legally? When you consider that the Federal Reserve Act (which created the beast) was passed under a huge cloud of conspiracy to "legalize" an illegal (and un-Constitutional) activity, I guess you could say that they are by far, the World's biggest thieves.

There are elite organizations that have been at this stuff for thousands of years, we're only seeing the completion of it. A good search would be the words "Prieure de Sion" on Alta Vista. This group of people are about as elite as it gets, you'd be surprised at some of the people who have been members. The Nautonnier or head of the Prieure de Sion is where we get the all seeing eye on the dollar ( In my opinion ). Of course they're known by a more contriversal name also. Here's a link because Alta Vista lost it: http://home.fireplug.net/~rshand/streams/scripts/sion.html

That's my opinion anyway, but an interesting subject.

Do I fear the government?

They want me to be completely helpless and unarmed.

Their hired legbreakers can kick in my door at any time, without reason, and if I fight back I'll die. If I survive, I have no recourse against them.

They steal over half of my paycheck and I get nothing in return.

They think that we don't have enough repression and need even more laws.

Yeah, it's safe to say that I fear the government... because they obviously fear me so much that they need to destroy me.

DAL, I could understand "filthy elitists," but to bring someone's economic status into the argument is to play class warfare, which is the exact tool the liberals use to push their socialist/totalitarian agenda.

You're correct that the left uses this strategy all to often, even though most of them are rich. I did not mean to use the term as a class warfare argument. Money is power and I agree that those that have come about it honestly by hard work is good. For those that I'm referring to as filthy rich are those that use their money as a tool to dictate and force their believes upon others at gunpoint. Kind of like Ted Turner and his comment that American Families should be FORCED to only have one child. Now to me that's an example of a filthy rich elitist. I guess I'm not as articulate as most and I'm using the term filthy rich elitists as an insult rather than classifying ones economic status. I hope this clarifies what I meant.

If you don't fear someone who forces you at gunpoint to pay protection money and is willing to kill you over minor and/or personal matters that harm no one else, how bright could you possibly be?
Lawdog is a brave man. Personally, I DO fear them. Bravado aside, would y'all not agree that the gov't has a lot more guns and more people than I? :D

BTW, over on the MsMagazine boards, they're in an uproar right now because Philadelphia's police force has now been proven to have been putting rape cases in a certain kind of "investigative limbo" for years, because that kept the cases from being counted!
Oh, yeah, much trust and mutual respect happening there.

I fear that the American people no longer hold to the ideals which make/made us great. The elected officials we despair over and the laws they push are only symptoms of our problems.

It is not exactly a fear I have, but a wariness of the government's capabilities that far outweigh mine. I do not trust it to take care of me, because it is not my mother(land) or father(land). I do not ask it to do anything other than protect our national borders and carry out its orders from you and me.
Unfortunately, the government, as we know and recognize it, has become an entity unto itself and must feed itself on whatever food it can find. I have come to the conclusion that being fodder for corruption sucks.

LawDog got it right. Disgusted and repelled by individuals in the government. Short sighted idiots who have no concept of the damage they are doing to this great country.

I do fear our government because it is so
corrupt, but in truth I believe the news
media does more damage because everything
done in government is aimed at getting
media attention, the media puts their
own slant on it and of course millions
of americans raised on the 6 o'clock news
believe everything Dan Rather says.
