(Darn you, PreserveFreedom, I came swooping in here, all stoked with the perfect punchline, only to find that I'd been beaten to it... )

Yeah, but what about the barefoot thing in the dreams? That always pisses me off, running around, back in SERE training, hither and yon through the woods, AK-47 or M14NM or 1911 in hand, and I'm BAREFOOT! Aaarrgghhh!
A couple of weeks ago I had a really bad dream. In my dream I delivered a load of wooden cabinets to the east coast and I got truck-Jacked. Because I was in NY my handgun was in my bag in the back and I had to fight with my pocket knife.
I hate going east where I can't carry. Nothing makes me more uncomfortable than being in a big city, late at night, in a dark area and UNARMED. Some aspects of truck driving really stink.
I'm not old enough to conceal-carry yet, so I don't, but Alot of my dreams do have to do with guns, cuz I hunt so much, alot of my dreams are about hunting or shooting.
Besides frequent misfires, my ongoing problem in nighty-night land is bullets that travel the speed of a little league fastball. It's crazy...in these dreams I start trying to figure out the appropriate lead and can sometimes even will bullets to the target. Pretty wild, sort of like "The Matrix!"
yes, i frequently carry in my dreams but have a problem. out of hundreds of dreams i've had where i've had to shoot someone the same thing always happens. i pull the trigger and nothing happens, or more often i have to use both hands to pull the trigger. for some reason, it's like the gun has a 1000 pound pull. i've only had one dream where things happened like real life. strange.

--Benjamin Franklin--
so I'm not the only one who's guns misfire or don't shoot properly in my dreams. That nice to know.
Had a dream a couple of nights ago. In a mall hunting these little crittersthey kinda look like those sand scavengers in the beginning of Star Wars, the little robed and hooded dudes with glowing eyes that capture the two droids. The ones I was hunting looked sorta like them, but no glowing eyes-flattened noses with bone showing thru. So I'm hunting these things-no one else seems to see them. I dress like them so I can get close but whatever I'm wearing is very heavy...I managed to shoot on in the left buttock as it skittered around a corner.
