do they make these for an 1858 remmy?

Since you are going to cut your barrel, mounting the front sight on the side would be an option, but the cylinder would be in the way of a true alignment with a rear sight notched into the frame and a fixed sight would be too high unless you have a raised front sight. I don't really see how you could do it.

At least the Crimson Trace Laser Grips for the Ruger Old Army were for real before they were discontinued...and they really could be turned side ways!
Or just attach any plain old laser sighting device to the trigger guard!
