so I finally decided get a Taurus revolver :)

anyways do they come with a hard case from the manufacturer? the dealer that I'm getting it from says they're not  and I have some doubts believing him...

Some of the newer Taurus products don't but the ones that been out awhile do. When I got the PT92AR, it didn't come with a plastic box.

You mentioned in another thread that you were getting a Raging Bull. My RB came in a cardboard box. That was about 5 years ago, but I doubt it's changed. I don't really miss it though since my other guns don't stay in their boxes either.

yep I'm getting a Raging Bull in .44 :) thanks for paying attention :p

BTW do you still have yours? how do you like it? how many rounds in?

I have bought several Taurus firearms in the past year, all of them manufactured in 2004. All of them came in a lockable hard plastic case.

Yep, still have my RB .454. 5 years in and many many rounds downrange. I really have no idea how many rounds of hot .45's and .454's I've put through it, but there have been many... and none of them were light loads. (All handloads except one box of Hornady 300gr. 454's) Not a hitch yet, short of having to put a drop of LocTite on the ejector rod to keep it from backing off. It's a handful every time.

I bought a Taurus 85 UL a short time ago and it was in a cardboard box. But thats OK with me because it was only $249 brand new!!!
