DO NOT PANIC!

Will Beararms

No matter what threats the brownshirts throw at us or how many suits they conjure up be it guns, tobacco or fatty food, the worm will turn. Sooner or later the masses will understan that legislation from the bench is a bad thing.

If we remain steadfast as consumers in our refusal to deal with a the dastardly Smith and Wesson Company, the Distributors will have no choice but to quit buying and the numbers will be in tact to back it up should Jant Nero and her gestapo come calling.

Clinton is desperate in his attempt to turn his treachery into a legacy. As one great American once said: "Stay the Course". You lose only after you quit in the game of life.

I too believe the "masses" will eventualy see what we now see. Unfortunately I fear they will not see it until it is too late for us all.

We live in a time in which attitudes and deeds once respected as courageous and honorable are now scorned as being antiquated and subversive.

Gunslinger:

I am tempted to feel the same way but I know if we think the worst will happen it will. I believe at this point, the marxist are just as uncertain as we are. I belive that if we stand tall and exercise resolve, the S&W deal will blow up. We are only months away from the election and even if the socialists try to initiate some sort of extortion sanctioned through clinton's orgnization, it may not matter.

I agree that the entire S&W "affair" is a test of sorts by the "marxist" and at this point it is failing miserably. I also think that they are becoming paniced and stretching because this is definately not what they expected. For the first time perhaps they are seeing just how united the gun manufacturers, distributors, dealers and owners can be. We are demonstrating we are resolved to preserve our rights. I think this has suprised and rocked the "marxist". I love it.
However the masses, the people (sheep) will not see this. By the time the politicians and media have finished we will be just as demonized as before. The media will not report this as gun people, et. al. showing a strong, united front capable of over throwing a comapny that has been in business since 1852.
The sheep want to be lead. They want to be secure if their make believe utopia world where the government takes care of them. Those people will not open their eyes until Clinton or Gore or one like them dons a brown shirt and begins preaching about the fatherland.
But yes, this whole S&W affair makes me feel a hell of a lot better about November.

I concur that the people will eventually see the light. As noted in UC, "people will always move toward freedom."
However, I think that if they don't begin that move very soon, it will call for the spilling of blood to accomplish it, and the longer we wait, the greater the bloodshed.

America is at that awkward stage; too late to work within the system, but too soon to start shooting the b**tards.
