while u are burying your head in the sand i will be out doing something about the problem, excuse me if i tramp upon your skull.

When I find some at the right price, I will. Why? Because you can never have too much protection. :)

I have been known to wear my level II when shooting at local indoor range. You never know what the fool in the next booth is doing.

Taco, I've been on a range or two where I wish I was wearing some! I've seen a few guys on the line at Knob Creek wearing it also.

Wear this to the range. People will give you plenty of space:

"[Even if there would be] few tears shed if and when the Second Amendment is held to guarantee nothing more than the state National Guard, this would simply show that the Founders were right when they feared that some future generation might wish to abandon liberties that they considered essential, and so sought to protect those liberties in a Bill of Rights. We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998

1. Been known to.
2. Because I can.

What do you want?
Freedom to live like we are.
Anything else?
Guns, so they can't take the freedom away!
I'll see what I can do-
And grenades, mortars, and mines, so they can't take the guns away!

I always invisioned something more metallic....maybe cast iron....so it can take a few blows from a mace or a battle axe without coming apart.

I wear a vest with rifle plates in it when I go hunting. Some friends laugh at me about it, but oh well.

I also worked at a sheetmetal company a while back and wore my vest when working there too, because there was a spinner than spun the steel sheets around. A couple freak accidents got a couple guys' stomachs sliced open, so I didn't want to face the same, and in fact the vest did stop a piece of metal that hit me. I know they aren't built to stop blades and whatnot, but it did...
