DIY Bullet Feeder Die Extender

DYI Extension for a Hornaday Bullet Feed Die (or any other die with ¾ ” dia top) :

I’ve seen similar DYI Bullet Feed die extensions posted, here's mine that will fit a single-stage or Turret Press.. Works great, easy to remove when needed, lightweight, cheap parts, and stable even when filled to the top. Holds 30 bullets (.38) to include those inside the die.

This 1/2 to 3/4 CPVC Slip adapter provides the connection between the top of the die and the extension tube. The tube is a tight fit, doesn't require any glue and hasn't budged despite heavy use. A little PVC epoxy could be used if required:

Cut Extension tube to length, for me 13" was the best fit, any longer and the tube may become a bit floppy when using a turret press. At this length I can spin the turret fairly fast without a problem.

Unit mounted on top of die. It fits perfectly and remains snug with the Hornaday, yet can be lifted off in a second when changing dies.
