Hey guys I bought a SIG 556 swat and charged it on a credit card from Gunbroker . I received a call after the gun shipped they had to order all the accessories … basically everything but the rifle and were going to ship direct from sig .
Its been 3 weeks , have called them and emailed thru gun broker and regular email … just left them another message , no contact .
They are a large shop and thats really odd .
Next would be have the credit card stop payment , its really only 100 dollars worth of stuff but its the point .
Any thoughts ?

If they did not ship the products you paid for and will not respond to communication attempts then by all means dispute the charges.

If they had to order all the accessories, 3 weeks doesn't seem out of line. Then again, I'm assuming you paid for the rifle and accessories with the assumption they had it in the store?

Still, I'm betting the stuff is on its way.

+++1 to what Kilimanjaro said.

I have bought items off gunbroker and had nothing but good experiences. maybe I've been really lucky but thing like gunbroker only work if everyone is on the level, and anyone who isn't needs to be reported/not paid/talked about on Internet forums. Sellers who I've bought from have always accurately represented the product being sold and kept me in the loop 100% of the way (I.e and email upon payment receipt, order shipping, tracking, etc). I always give my sellers the positive feedback they deserve; sounds like you should do the same ;). I've never had anyone try to pull what the OP is describing.

Do your part for the online gun sales community, give credit where it's due!!

--and don't pay those (insert expletive here) one cent!!!

If you want to dispute it, make sure you do so in writing with the credit card company within 30 days. They may take a verbal dispute but are under no legal obligation to do so.

Post the name of the gun dealer you purchased from!

Give us the name. Post his/its name over on Sturmgewher.com as well. Why are you holding back on this? Are you trying to protect the store?

Now, waiting 3 weeks to get accessories is not any big deal in my book. But misleading you on what and when you would get stuff after you paid and then not returning calls, THAT'S A PROBLEM!

Also, type up a well written letter and send it to them, certified mail, regular US mail, and scan and email it, demanding that they complete the transaction within a given time, or that they send you a shipping label to return the gun and provide you with a full refund. Put your contact information in the letter. Make sure the FFL for the store gets it too and not just some counter jockey.
